Nowra: Free festival of Football event

An exciting and free “Festival of Football” has been announced to be held on Saturday the 28th and 29th of January at South Nowra’s Ison Park with the Wollongong Wolves, Illawarra Stingrays and Belconnen United FC all assisting in what will be a fantastic weekend of Football.

Shoalhaven District Football Association and Shoalhaven Council have strongly supported the initiative by making grounds and facilities available, ensuring top quality football comes to the region.

The Festival of Football weekend will be completely FREE and open to everyone one, male and female, regardless of age, with a range of football related activities planned as well as trial games for the Under 20s, Senior Men and Senior Women.

1pm – 5pm

Players and coaches from the Wolves, Belconnen United, Stingrays and Football NSW Southern Branch, will hold a series of coaching clinics at Ison Park putting on activities, drills, training and playing sessions for everyone attending. All will be welcome with something on offer for everyone of all ages.

Special guest appearance by the Wolves mascot, who is sure to get the kids smiling.
